MINE BEACONS PANACEA TO LAND DISPUTES

The Zimbabwe Republic Police Minerals and Boarder Control Unit has urged small scale miners to take safety precautions so as to reduce accidents at their mining sites.
Speaking to YA FM News Inspector Balani, highlighted that miners have to be cautious when it comes to safety, as they work with dangerous chemicals and machinery.
He added that small scale miners should have permanent beacons so as to reduce land disputes.
The Minerals and Border Control Unit was established to curtail leakages of minerals and other natural resources as well as enforce laws that protect public infrastructure and utilities in the country.
