University students have hailed the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education for reducing tuition fees for students on industrial attachment.
Instead of paying full fees, students on attachment will now pay 60 percent of their fees.
Speaking to YA FM news, some of the students said the move comes as a relief as some of them were struggling to pay fees.
This new policy cancels circular number 6 of 1997 which required students on attachment to pay full tuition fees.
