WET SPELL REVATILISES LIVESTOCK IN MAT SOUTH

Written by on March 14, 2018

The condition of livestock in Matabeleland South has improved following the wet spell that was experienced in the province in the last few weeks.

The rains revatilised pastures in the province which had suffered following a prolonged dry spell since the beginning of the year.

Speaking to YAFM news, Zimbabwe Farmers Union Matabeleland South Provincial Manager Sakhile Ndlovu said they have noted a lot of positive changes due to the recent rains.

This comes at a time when the country’s maize output for the season is expected to drop due to erratic rainfalls.
