RUNDE EMBARKS ON HOUSING PROJECT

Runde Rural District Council has unveiled a massive housing delivery programme where it targets to service over 1300 stands during the course of this year.
Runde RDC chief executive officer Gorden Moyo says the housing developments are being undertaken at Siboza and Musipani Business Centres and Mabasa Growth Point.
Last year the local authority acquired construction equipment that includes graders and caterpillars, which has made servicing of stands more convenient and cost effective.
Demand for residential stands in the district is increasing with the housing waiting list now standing at 3 000.
