TEACHERS REPORT FOR DUTY

Zvishavane District Schools Inspector Trynos Mahlokozera says the district has not been affected by the strike threats issued by teachers.
Speaking to YA FM News Mr Mahlokozera confirmed that teachers in the district resumed their duties when schools opened for the second term yesterday.
Progressive Teachers’ Unions of Zimbabwe (PTUZ) and Amalgamated Rural Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (ARTUZ) had threatened to strike when schools open for second term demanding a salary increase and improvement of their working conditions.
