CHINA PLEDGES SMALL SCALE MINERS SUPPORT

President Emmerson Mnangagwa says China is set to extend $100 million to Zimbabwe to boost the country`s small scale mining sector.
He says the country expects to be producing about 90 000 tonnes of gold per year in 5 years.
President Mnangagwa was speaking at the National Youth convention in Gweru yesterday. He said the country is set to benefit from the energy projects such as the Lupane coalbed methane project which he said is expected to produce 800 million litres of fuel.
