TRAFFIC SAFETY COUNCIL LAUNCHES SCHOOLS PROGRAMME

The Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe in partnership with the Zimbabwe Republic Police is setting up Traffic Safety Clubs in schools to educate pupils on traffic safety

The first club was set up at Dambudzo Secondary in Zvishavane with an initial membership of 40 pupils with the assistance of two teachers working as patrons.

Speaking at the official launch Regional Traffic Safety Manager Mr Jonah Mangami said they will work with schools to impart the same knowledge to communities.

The programme is running under the theme, Traffic safety begins with me.
