Parents with children learning at Victoria High school in Masvingo are organising a demonstration against the school authorities this Thursday over alleged maladministration at the school.
The disgruntled parents have since petitioned against the school`s headmaster Mr John Muzamani, whom they want removed from the school, on charges of running the school.
Concerned parents who spoke to YAFM news said they have approached the police seeking clearance for their demonstration. The parents said the boarding facilities at the school are in a deplorable state and their children are not receiving quality education.
Contacted for comment , Masvingo Provincial Education Director Mr Zedius Chitiga told YAFM news that he was not aware of the demonstration but however acknowledged receiving a petition from the parents.
Mr Chitsiga said they have already instituted investigations.
He however discouraged parents from demonstrations saying the act affects a peaceful learning environment for the children.
