MDC ALLIANCE TO TAKE ELECTION DISPUTE TO COURT

The MDC alliance says it will approach the courts to challenge the presidential election results announced by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission.
Speaking to the media at a press briefing in Harare yesterday, MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa`s spokesperson, Dr Nkululeko Sibanda confirmed that they are taking the legal route.
According to official results President-elect Emmerson Mnangagwa polled 50.8% of the votes while Chamisa received 44.3 percent of the votes.
