MINISTRY ORDERS INSTITUTIONS TO HONOR PAYMENT POLICY

Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education,Science and Technology Development  says all tertiary institutions that have not adhered to the policy of reducing  tuition fees by 60 percent for students on industrial attachment  are mandated to do so with immediate effect.

In a statement, Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development, Amon Murwira said the  policy which was enacted early this year  abolished circular number 6 of 1997 which required students  on industrial attachment to pay full tuition.
Parents and benefiting students within the Great Dyke  who spoke to YAFM news expressed gratitude over the  government ‘s  move to enforce institutions saying it will assist them as they are failing to meet the required expenses
