RETAILERS CALL FOR SOLUTION TO FOREIGN CURRENCY SHORTAGES

The Confederation of Zimbabwe Retailers says the government should come up with a lasting solution to the foreign currency shortage.
CZR Marketing and stakeholder relations director, Alois Burutsa says the Reserve bank of Zimbabwe has not been availing foreign currency to retailers.
He says they have been forced to hike prices, to match the parallel market foreign currency exchange rate, where some get their forex from.
Prices in most shops in Zvishavane and Mberengwa have remained high even after the announcement of a new cabinet.
