Zvishavane vendors fume over the issue of them being thrown out of town.
Vendors who spoke to YAFM said selling fruits and vegetables is the only way they are making a living and the proper market place is too small to accommodate all vendors hence the recent price hiking on basic commodities is making life unbearable for them.
The Zvishavane Town Council and the Zimbabwe Republic Police say there is no going back in efforts to get rid of illegal vegetable and food vendor selling in designated places in the CBD.
The vendors however, called on town authorities to upgrade the market place so that it accommodates more vendors .
