POLICE URGE CITIZENS TO DESIST FROM SENDING SENSITIVE PICTURES

As street journalism continue gaining momentum by providing first-hand information on social media, some people have castigated the posting of accident pictures taken on accidents scenes.
Ya FM news spoke to some residents who said the misconduct has brought more harm than good as some people have been affected by this carefree behavior.
Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Republic Police, ZRP says citizens should be sensitive in spreading information and details on road traffic accidents on social media.
ZRP Midlands Province Acting Spokesperson Assistant Inspector Ethel Mukwende said such social media users also spreading false information causing alarm and despondency.
Assistant Inspector Mukwende went on to encourage motorists to be cautious on the roads.
