FEARS FOR BREAD SHORTAGES ALLAYED AS WHEAT STOCKS ARE ADEQUATE

Millers say the legacy debt for grain is currently over $40 Million. Grain Millers Association Chairman Tafadzwa Musarara says the country has over 130 000 tons of wheat currently allaying fears of bread shortage as the festive season approach.
While the country is trying to replenish wheat stocks, indications, however, are that the central bank is struggling to provide foreign currency needed to pay for a consignment of the grain.
