TEACHERS GO TO WORK AS FIRST TERM OF 2019 STARTS.

Schools have opened for the first term of 2019 with teachers reporting for duty at their various schools in Zvishavane District.
In an interview with Ya FM news, Zvishavane District Schools Inspector Trynos Mahlokozera said teachers attended and the business of the first term began in earnest.
Meanwhile, negotiations between government and teachers ended in a deadlock yesterday with the negotiating parties failing to reach a consensus.
Speaking after the meeting, Acting Public Service, Labour, and Social Welfare minister, July Moyo said the government has an offer it feels is reasonable.
However, Zimbabwe Teachers Association secretary general, Tapson Nganunu, Sibanda insisted members will not report for duty as their demands have not been met.
