VILLAGERS HAIL CONSTRUCTION OF LUNDI- ZVISHAVANE STRIP ROAD

Written by on January 8, 2019

Villagers in Mabasa  have expressed gratefulness following the recent resurfacing of the local tarred road linking Lundi and Zvishavane which now stretches 20km reaching  Mabasa Business Centre.

In an interview with the media, villagers said the dust-road often presented nightmares for motorists and travelers with expecting mothers and the ill  being the most affected.

While the surfacing has reached Mabasa Business Centre, motorists are also pleading with authorities to proceed and tar the 25 KM stretch linking Mabasa and the main Gweru – Zvishavane Highway.

The road construction which is a bitumen tender   is among other infrastructural development initiated by  President Emerson Mnangagwa under his second republic of Zimbabwe.
