MIMOSA JOINS HANDS TOWARDS CHOLERA PREVENTION THROUGH DONATING TO CHOMBHOBHO

Mimosa Mining Company General Manager Mr Alex Mushoniwa says local communities should implore long term health preservative measures in a bid to fight against disease outbreaks such as Cholera.
Speaking to our news editor Belinda Sibanda on the sidelines of a donation of taped toilet buckets, water guards and soaps to benefit 400 households at Chombhobho area in Mberengwa Mr Mushoniwa urged communities to be vigilant through engaging companies to assist with long term solutions.
The donation comes amid a recent cholera outbreak at Chombhobho area which claimed 2 lives affecting 26 others.
The situation is reportedly improved with acting district nursing officer Marvis Munengiwa confirming zero reports on cholera infections since the second of January this month.
Speaking on the same event Mberengwa District Administrator Mr Steward Chiwanga acknowledged efforts by the platinum giant saying the donation will go a long way in saving lives within the affected community.
