MARGINALISED RESETTLEMENT AREAS APPEAL FOR MORE SCHOOLS

Villagers in Shangani say they want more schools to be constructed in the area, to cater for the growing number of children.

In an interview villagers said the available schools are far apart which is a challenge to learners who are forced to  walk long distances to nearest schools

 

 

The construction of new schools and the refurbishment of the existing ones has been pointed out as key to the national vision for 2030, government recently constructed a new school in Neta village in Mberengwa to cater for over 1000 children of school going age in the resettlement area.
