MINISTRY DECLARES TODAY ‘TUKU DHUKU ” DAY

Ministry of youths , Sports , Arts and Recreation has appealed for today to be declared a ‘TUKU DHUKU ” where women folk who constitute a sizable percentage of Tuku’s fan base to put a black attire including head dress.
The name was derived from one of the late legend’s famous tracks.
This was revealed in a statement released by the ministry yesterday where the late music legend was awarded a hero status.
Some Women within the Great Dyke welcomed the idea saying they will be all black today as a sign of mourning and paying last respect to the great musician, philanthropist and goodwill ambassador .

The country, region and the world at large continues to mourn the late musician, businessman, philanthropist as well as a Goodwill Ambassador for Southern African Religion Dr Oliver Mutukudzi who was recognised as Zimbabwe’s most renowned and internationally recognised cultural icon of all times.
Mutukudzi passed on this Wednesday the 23rd of January at Avenues clinic in Harare after battling for a month with Sugar diabetes leaving behind his wife Daisy Mutukudzi, four children and 2 grandchildren.
