RAINSHOWERS HIGHLY EXPECTED IN THE DRY LANDS OF MIDLANDS SOUTH

Although rain patterns have continued to be elusive within the Mining areas of  Zvishavane, Mberengwa, and surrounding areas, Weather Services department predicted fair showers south of the Midlands province within the next few days,  starting from today.

In an interview with Ya FM News Met Services Department’s James Ngoma revealed predicted forecast

Some parts of the country have for the past 2 days been receiving showers with infrastructure destructions reported in some parts of Matabeleland South like  Beitbridge.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe Commercial Farmers Union of Zimbabwe Chairperson Mr. Wonder Chabikwa urged farmers to dig in between plowed lines in order to help conserving water

Midlands Province has not been spared by the elnino season being experienced in most parts of the country with farmers losing hope for a meaningful harvest this farming season.
