DIPPING CHEMICAL SHORTAGES CAUSE HEADACHES FOR FARMERS

Farmers have made an outcry to the government saying they are loosing their livestock to tick-borne and related diseases as they are incapacitated to purchase expensive dipping chemicals.
YAFM news spoke to farmers from Chivi, Mabwematema and Gwatemba areas who bemoaned the state of their livestock as government has prolonged time without dipping their livestock.
Government through Veternary Service Department late last year urged farmers to consider purchasing supplementary dipping chemicals for their livestock following livestock vaccine shortages a situation which they say has not improved to date.
