TRADITIONAL LEADERS HAIL LAW ENFORCERS

Traditional leaders have hailed the commitment by Zimbabwe Republic Police and the country ‘s Judicial Service Commission to arrest those found guilty of possessing any form of dangerous weapon saying the measure will bring sanity within various mining communities.
This comes amid worrisome reports on increased criminal activities and loss of lives especially by artisanal miners in areas like Kwekwe, Silobela, Shurugwi , Mberegwa and Zvishavane over gold rushes and mining boundaries.
Chief Mapanzure told Great dyke news that the development will culminate popular Mabhemba boys who are causing unrest within communities and appealed to stakeholders to take a similar measure on stock theft.Zimbabwe Republic Police announced a six months jail term on account of possessing weapons including catapults,
machetes, axes, knob carries, swords, knives or daggers, and any kind of traditional weapon likely to cause public disorder.
