ZRP EMBRACES SOCIAL MEDIA FOR INVESTIGATION PURPOSES

The Zimbabwe Republic Police says it encourages members of the public to  continue using  social media fruitfully , exposing crime and criminal activities happenings around them as it assist police with investigations.In a telephone interview with YAFM news, National Police Spokesperson Paul Nyathi said police are flexible with information coming to them in anywhere as their mandate is to put criminals and perpetrators in book.  This comes after the location and  arrest of  a Kadoma man Litten Chikoore accused of  assault following  a video of him attacking Pedzisai Mangisi aged 30  which went viral on social media earlier in the week.In a statement on their official twitter handle ZRP thanked members of the public for the assistance rendered in the apprehension of the accused and the reporting of the crime.
