Tobacco lndustry and Marketing Board (TIMB) has warned farmers against selling their produce to illegal markets as they will not be able to assist them in case they are robbed off.
There is an increase of farmers who are coned their tobacco after selling them to unknown buyers who will be promising them satisfying prices.
TIMB Chief Executive Officer Doctor Andrew Matibri urged farmers to sell their tobacco to the only legal market for accountability.
