Energy and Power Development Minister , Joram Gumbo says government has secured US$50 million in letters of credit to stabilise the fuel situation, and supply is expected to improve this week

Severe fuel challenges hit most towns  within the great dyke for the past two weeks with motorists and other  business fuel users bemoaning spending unproductive time in  long fuel queues for both petrol and diesel .
Some motorists who spoke to great dyke news reporter Stephen Mawarire said although they welcome government`s efforts, a lot has to be done in improving availability , allocations and distribution of the  commodity.
