Great Dyke news reporter Portia Muzorava  spoke to  some farmers from Chinyika under Chief Ziki in Bikita who revealed that released livestock is giving them headaches as the 2018/2019  farming season  prolonged due to delayed rainfalls.
Meanwhile Zimbabwe Republic Police  has urged farmers  to protect their livestock through branding and always ensure that they are kept in kraals over night.
Masvingo  provincial Police Spokesperson Chief Inspector  Charity Mazula said branding is vital as the identity mark  protects livestock from being auctioned .
There is increase in stray cattle and donkeys  which are found roaming  within the towns’ Central Business Units  and highways and are   blamed for causing  most of the road accidents.
