First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa says the government is taking drastic measures that will ensure that women get access to primary health care facilities

Addressing  women on International day of midwives in Masvingo on Friday  amai Mnangagwa said the government is aware of challenges faced by women in accessing treatment and other primary  health necessities.
She  also applauded  women for taking courage in defending their rights in the country.
 The First lady who was recently appointed Health and Child Care ambassador has been leading in the fight against cancerous diseases urging women to undergo  free testing for breast and cervical cancer.
Early this month she officially launched an early cervical cancer detection  and treatment center at Parirenyatwa group of Hospitals in Harare where women will be screened for free.
The equipment was acquired through a partnership by Chinese government  and  Ministry of Health and Child Care.
