Written by on May 28, 2019

People in rural areas have been urged to take advantage of free disease screening services when organizations provide them in their areas.

Speaking to Great Dyke News, Retired Colonel Manasa Mahapa who mobilizes the well-wishers to help people with eye sight problems encouraged people with cataracts to come and receive the required medical attention.

The Council for the Blind working with Chivi District Hospital will provide free cataract screenings to villagers on June 18 with free operations from June 19 to 21.

Chivi District Hospital Optician Adiel Mabiza said the camp will cater for all age groups.
